Description

The range Ichiro's Malt is named after Ichiro Akuto, the grandson of the founder of Hanyu distillery. Ichiro's Malt Chichibu Chibidaru is an impressive blend, aged using Chibidaru casks, or "Original Quarter Casks". They are the very first Bourbon Barrels used by the distillery to age whiskies. These original American oak wood barrels (Hogshead) were shortened before filling, giving the whisky a truly unique character.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Caramel, butterscotch, cherry, banana and citrus notes.

TASTE:
Nutmeg, grapefruit, walnut, peppermint, tinge of smokiness.

FINISH:
Moderate to long, dried citrus peel finish.
