Description

A very rare bottle of whisky from Ichiro's Malt, this is a gem for whisky collectors and connoisseurs alike. This whisky is matured in Port Pipes and released at full cask strength.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
The creamy notes come first: vanilla ice cream, coconut flakes. Then spicy oak, nutmeg and white pepper. Dry sawdust and dust. Malt and refreshing menthol. Freeze-dried strawberries and some mirabelles. A bit of sour aromas (bourbon). Variable aroma.

TASTE:
Creamy and warming. Vanilla sugar, fruits (fresh apples, kiwi), honey, and a mint leaf. Some spices and citrus notes - orange peel. A high ABV does not prevent you from enjoying it, very drinkable. Finish.

FINISH:
Warming, with tannins. Coffee, chocolate, refreshing mint and citrus at the end. Medium towards the long.
