Gran Codorníu Pinot Noir is the true reflection of a grape, a terroir and a vintage. The best expression of Pinot Noir grapes from our oldest vineyards. Codorníu was a pioneer in the cultivation of this variety and this long experience has allowed us to take a step forward and create an exclusive cava, which enhances the unique nuances of this variety and this vintage. A Rosé Brut with intense aroma of red fruits and citrus, full of freshness and vivacity. Different, elegant, daring, unique and authentic.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
A delicate medium tone salmon pink. A fine mousse with a delicate crown.

NOSE:
Intense notes of raspberry, blackberry and strawberry intermingle with a light citrus aroma that heightens them and adds more freshness.

TASTE:
A rounded, complex, balanced and creamy mouthfeel. The butteriness of Chardonnay has enables us to craft this Brut nature without adding sugars in the expedition liqueur.Prominent notes of red fruit on the palate. Fresh and balanced and the bubbles enhance the creamy sensation that comes from its aging in contact with the yeasts.

Food Pairing

An excellent pairing with substantial aperitifs or rice dishes with fish. Perfect with salmon and raw oily fish (sashimi, sushi, carpaccio and tartar) or grilled fish, because its acidity balances out the oiliness of these fish.
