Appellation: Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
Soil: Limestone plateau and clay-limestone slopes
Average age of vines: 20 years
Cultivation and harvesting: « Guyot double » pruning, debudding, thinning by hand. Manual harvesting using trays, two sorting tables to select grapes.
Vinification: Cold prefermentary maceration, temperature-controlled wooden conical vats. Slow vatting over a period of three weeks.
Maturation: 14 months in one wine barrels and two wines barrels, french oak.

Tasting Notes

Light reddish purple on the eyes. Whiffs of plum and chocolate followed by young tannins and fresh alcohol burn. Flavorful and rich with dark chocolate and fruit. Full bodied and spectacularly smooth.
