The Singleton - Glen Ord - 18 Year Old | Single Malt Scotch Whisky

A long fermentation – up to 75 hours in fact – combined with slow, batch distillation and a maturation in both American and European oak casks makes for a rich and rewarding Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Tart, tongue-coating and fruity, the influence of the European oak makes The Singleton of Glen Ord complex, accessible and even moreish.

Less spicy, more mature, slightly darker in colour, and deeper in flavour than the 12-year-old; the house style of the distillery, beautifully presented. Best enjoyed neat or with a drop of water. Glen Ord 18 has a natural affinity with dried fruits, ginger and honey, but also works well with intense hard cheeses.
