Description

Mantelassi is a winery that grows based on Maremma and Scansano in southern Tuscany. A family who migrated to the region in the 1860s and worked on vineyards (grafter & pruner) established a winery based on the 4ha vineyard in the 1960s, and now has over 100ha of vineyards. In 1978, Morellino di Scansano was said to have played a major role in the promotion to the DOC. Maremma is located on the southern coast of Tuscany, and Scansano is right next to the inland side.

Tasting Notes

It is a warm and mild first impression with aromas of scent and smokey nuances with a mature red berry and blackberry flavor. Cinnamon and vanilla hints add to the mature dark red berry flavor in your mouth . After all, the feeling of comfort and softness continues, and the balance is good and it goes smoothly without getting caught.
