Ginestet - Arthus d’Olivey - Péssac-Léognan | French Red Wine

Arthus d'Olivey is the name that Ginestet gave to this red wine from the Classified Growth of Graves, Château Olivier. The ancestor who built and fortified Olivier deserved this tribute through a fine and delicate wine. Merlot dominates with its fruity and velvety flavors along with the rascal spirit of the Cabernet Sauvignon.

Château Olivier stands in the middle of the greenery and impresses with its architecture. A fairytale castle that saw the Black Prince hunting on this land. But it is the 60 hectares of vines that interests us here. Investments have been made recently with, among other things, an in-depth geological study of the plots which enables the wines to be refined in the end. Classified in red and white in 1953, Château Olivier's wines are elegant, fine and tender, accessible for tasting without waiting too long.
