In Côte Rôtie and Condrieu, there are 9 hectares of vineyards. Each hectare is prestige in its own. This prestigious places are called: Côte blonde, Côte Brune, the fleecy, the Viallière, Leyat the Champin, Fondjean, Planèze to Côte-Rôtie and Eyguets, Great for Condrieu.
The vintage La Garde comes from a parcel located in Côte Blonde. The production of La Garde varies from 500 to 3000 bottles and is performed only on the great vintages.
Fully manual harvesting and careful sorting is done in the vineyard, before the tank. Stemming 80% in traditional red vinification with 4 weeks of systematic macolactic fermentation, to extract the coloring matter and the best tannins. High 32 months in new oak barrels.
