Description

Since the early 19th century Paul Jaboulet Aine has been synonymous with quality wine in the Rhone. In 1834, Antoine Jaboulet (1807-1864) started working the land in this region, creating a lasting link between the Jaboulet name and the Rhone over the generations.

The estate is located on decomposed granite called “gore”. The grapes are de-stemmed, crushed and fermented at controlled temperatures. The wine is kept in vats for 3 to 4 weeks and is then aged in barrel for 12 months, 20% of which is new French oak.

Tasting Notes

Aromas and flavours of red and black fruits, warm spices and a touch of liquorice. The tannins are firm and ripe, giving this elegant wine good body.
