Description

After a number of excellent single Port cask releases (and a 41% release), here's single malt from the Welsh distillery's core range which is initially matured in ex-bourbon casks and then in Portwood casks following that.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Aromas of rich dried fruits with dark chocolate and cranberries; a hint of toasty oak mingles with a baked nutty dryness.

TASTE:
A creamy richness with some honey and spiced notes emerging.

FINISH:
Smooth with a soft oak and honey sweetness lingering gently on the tongue.
