Pillitteri Estates - VQA Late Harvest Vidal - 375ml (Half Bottle) | Canadian Sweet White Wine

Consistent cold temperatures persisted through November with a few cold snaps that occurred before harvest in January. Our late harvest is made from the 2nd and 3rd pressings of our Vidal Icewine grapes. This wine has a light straw colour in the glass with moderate viscosity. The nose shows notes of lychees, wildflower honey, peaches in syrup and orange blossom water. The palate is medium sweet but not cloying with flavours of ripe pear, golden delicious apple, grapefruit zest and lime. The finish is clean with refreshing acidity. A versatile option for an aperitif, foie gras or with a light dessert.
