The vineyards are formed of smallish plots on Tuffeau (chalk) hillocks and Senonian and Eocene outcrops. The Saumur Champigny vines grow in an outstanding location on the upper Turonian plateau and on plateaux whose soils cover the tuffeau bedrock.
Tasting Notes
This Saumur Champigny presents an expressive nose of small red berries.In the mouth, the attack offers a powerful , lively and well balanced character, with an aromatic range (strawberry).which coats slight tannins, and remains in a fluid finale.
