El Enemigo - Malbec | Argentinian Red Wine

El Enemigo, translated as "Enemy", is produced at the southern foothills of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza in Argentina. Alejandro Vigil, the Chief Winemaker at Bodega Catena Zapata and the former head of the soil division at Argentina’s Wine Institute, and Adrianna Catena, Historian and from the Catena family, are the proud owners and also share the same passion for fine wine. It dates back during the era when European immigrants first settled in Argentina, and sought to make wines finer than those of their old homeland. El Enemigo blends contain Malbec and Petit Verdot grape varieties where they are considered to be the ultimate in refinement and aging potential.
