Description

"Pruno" - red dry wine from the winery Finca Villacreces, owned by Artevino. The farm is located in the heart of Ribera del Duero and takes about 64 hectares of predominantly clay and sandy soils. Yields are the second and third week of October. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation carried out in steel tanks and for aging wine goes to French oak barrels, which contains 12 months. Its name "Pruno" (from Spanish - "drain") has received thanks to a saturated plum blossom and the abolition of fruit flavors.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
The wine has a very rich maroon, almost purple.

NOSE:
The aroma of wine is dominated by notes of red fruits, licorice, spice and oak in the background balsamic tones.

TASTE:
The wine has a soft, brightly fruity flavor with hints of licorice and hints of roasted coffee and toffee, pleasant acidity, intense tannins and a soft finish.

The wine goes well with meat: beef or pork, lamb steak and blue cheese.
