Ferraud & Fils - Fleurie Cru du Beaujolais | French Red Wine

The appellation extends over two sides, one next to Chiroubles and the other next to Windmill. This is important in approaching the identity and typicity of this wine. It is often considered the most feminine of the Beaujolais Crus. It is generally the favorite vintage of these ladies. Perhaps it is due to the Madonna of Fleurie which, perched at the top of its hill, watches over the vines. The selection we make for "Le Reposoir" is a work followed for over 20 years by Maison Ferraud. It is made on wines from the flank adjoining Chiroubles.
