Description
This is the second wine from the mythical Château Chasse-Spleen. It is made with the young vines of the great wine and benefits from the same care. Château Chasse-Spleen appeals to all good amateurs. Regular in quality, this chateau halfway between Margaux and Saint-Julien is rich in different terroirs, from gravel to clay-limestone soil.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red color, med windows. Sweet cassis, green bell pepper, herbal twist, touch of leather & barnyard notes, medium intensity. Present but ripened tannins, medium acidity, elegant, mineral touch, not overly fruity. Good balance, medium finish. Elegant, cool touch, herbal & fresh touch.
