Melini - Neocampana - Chianti | Italian Red Wine

The Florentine noble family Melini first became involved in wine making in 1705 and have been making wine ever since. Among other feats Melini introduced the famous straw flask “fiasco” in 1860 and also lead the way in quality by being one of the first winemakers in Tuscany to vinify their wines by vineyard, much like the French. Melini is widely recognized as a historic brand that helped establish Chianti as a premium wine region in the 18th and 19th century.
