This is the Katzrin Gewürztraminer white wine from the Yarden series, produced by Golan Heights Winery.
The Galilee (or Galil) is the most northern, and generally considered the best, appellation in Israel. The highest quality area within the appellation is the Golan Heights (or simply the Golan), the coldest region in Israel. The vineyards on this volcanic plateau rise from 400 meters (1,300 feet) above sea level to 1,200 meters (3,900 feet) and receive snowfall in the winter. Golan Heights Winery is located in the town of Katzrin in the central Golan.
The 2019 Mount Hermon Moscato is produced solely from Muscat Canelli, typically our earliest ripening variety. Stopping the wine’s very cold fermentation early, we produce a lightly sparkling wine that is delightfully aromatic and naturally low in alcohol.
Mount Hermon Moscato is ready to drink now and best enjoyed within some 18 months of vintage.

Tasting Notes
The Mount Hermon Moscato presents attractive pineapple, mango, melon and floral notes, along with pleasing hints of lemongrass. Lightly sparkling, the wine is pleasantly sweet and refreshing.
Food Pairing
Great as an aperitif served alone, the wine also pairs wonderfully with fruit-based desserts such as tropical fruit biscotti, tangy lemon tarts, or zabaglione made with Mount Hermon Moscato.
