Description
A magnum bottle of Bollinger SPECTRE – a limited-edition grand cru Champagne released to commemorate the eponymous James Bond film, the 14th appearance of the house in in the series. Made using grapes from the 2009 vintage, of which 68% is Pinot Noir and 32% is Chardonnay. Fresh and lively with a bitter orange finish.
Tasting Notes
COLOR:
Deep gold, which demonstrates the wine’s maturity as well as Bollinger’s winemaking methods.
NOSE:
White flowers, citrus fruit, delicately stewed pear with hints of vanilla, toasted aromas, hazelnuts and breadcrumbs.
TASTE:
Good maturity, yet brisk and lively. Candied fruit, Mirabelle plum, quince paste and honey.
